Image Gallery Crop Images To Fit feature

The "Crop Images To Fit" feature of the built in wordpress gallery block is pretty neat, I'd like to find the same feature in the Image gallery widget (see attached images). And I'd like to be able to add a different caption tahn the image caption (the description, or a custom one)
